About Margaret Neal, LCSW For over ten years I’ve worked predominantly with young children and their parents. I especially enjoy this work which focuses not only on the day-to-day issues of young children, but also on severe behavior problems, children with special needs, step-parenting, and grandparents raising grandchildren. I find it rewarding to help parents sort through the questions, dilemmas, doubts and emotions that accompany raising young children. Over more that thirty years as a therapist, I have worked with clients on a variety of issues --- depression, anxiety, panic attacks, family and relationship issues, codependency, identity, self-esteem, career issues, child abuse, sexual assault, and chemical dependency. I earned a bachelor’s degree from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey and a masters in social work degree from Hunter College School of Social Work in New York City.
